Heather – MassageTherapist

Heather has always being athletically inclined and decided to pursue a volleyball scholarship at Yavapai College. Heather continued her education at Western New Mexico University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Movement Science accompanied with a minor in coaching.

For as long as she can recall, Heather has always been passionate and interested in alternative therapies, such as, unconventional methods of treating disease as opposed to the use of medications. Some of these alternatives include nutrition, chiropractic care, massage therapy, yoga, and personal training.

Combined with a science background and her personal experience with spinal manipulation, she truly believes in the concept of the body healing itself from the inside out. As she says, “what we put into our bodies and what we do to them is what we will get out”.

For many years she wanted to be a massage therapist and was thrilled when she learned it went hand in hand with chiropractic care. Heather joined the In Touch Wellness Center team in order to put these therapies together and improve individuals’ wellness.
